K-Perrino- Kindergarten Celebration is this week ! You have all done an amazing job memorizing your lines and songs!
1st Johnson- Our school family skit is well prepared for memorial day celebration, the students have been working very hard. We will be practicing techniques for projection, articulation and voice production for the last few weeks of school using a series of exercises for the vocal arc, the four articulators, and the diaphram.
3rd grade- We are finishing up our class puppets this week. Next week we will write and perform as a class scenes for a Kabuki Theatre play....this should be great fun!
5th- We will rehearse our Wizard of Oz on Act next week and perform them on the following wednesday. Please make sure you get memorized with your group.
7th Doan- We finished make-up design and application. We will be reviewing some acting techniques we use in exercises like, Zap, Charades, pantomime, and improvisation for the last few weeks of school.
Hansel and Gretel: Friday May 23rd rehearsal has been cancelled due to the fact that you all have been working so hard, I decided to give you a break. Remember we have to do it 6 nights in a row next week, so rest this weekend and I will see you at dress rehearsal on tuesday!

K- Perrino- We have been working very hard on our songs and lines for kindergarten celebration , the students are all going to be wonderful.
1st Johnson- We worked on our school family last week. This week we will be working on projection techniques, diction, articulation, to get them ready for their drama classes in second grade! I know can you believe it!
3rd grade- We are working on a class project making two Kabuki Theatre puppets-Lifesize! We are ofcourse making it out of paper instead of wood....
5th- We are working on a one act of the Wizard of Oz as a class. We will be incorporating all the character work and script scoring that we have learned throughout the year.
7th- We are working on designing make-up for fantasy animals. We will apply the make-up next week in class.
Hansel and Gretel- This week is Dry Tech Week. Make sure to check the schedule carefully for times and what is needed as far as snacks go. We are in the Freed theatre for rehearsals all week.... THe Hansel and Gretel Dinner night will be friday June 6th at 5:00pm the Cost of the dinner will be included in the price of the show for this night only all tickets for the performance will be $7.00 when you purchase a dinner ticket for $5.00 dinner only 5.00 show only 7.00 child 10.00 adult Dinner and show will be $12.00
